The St. Thomas Bobcats advanced to their third consecutive title game with a 4-1 win over SCAD in today's morning game, sending the Bees to the loser's bracket. The Bees will take on Embry-Riddle, who defeated Warner University 11-1 n the loser's bracket this afternnoon. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. The winner of that game will face St. Thomas in the finals. Since St. Thomas does not have a loss they will have to be beaten twice to win the TSC.

Emilio Ogando of St. Thomas improved to 6-0 with his performance over the Bees. SCAD was only able to collect five hits and one run against the freshman left-hander.
Will Cioffi gave SCAD a 1-0 lead in the fourth with a solo home run over the wall in left-center field. The homer was Cioffi's 5th of the year. But the lead was short-lived as STU scored two runs in the bottom of the frame, pushing STU to a 2-1 advantage.
Mick Waterhouse, SCAD's starter, did his best to keep the Bees in the game, but St. Thomas scored twice more in the home-half of the seventh to give their starter a 4-1 cushion, one that he would never relinquish.
The Bees will now have to win three games in a row in order to win the TSC Championship. The first game will be later today at 6 p.m. when they take on Embry-Riddle. SCAD won the first meeting against. Embry-Riddle on Tuesday by a score of 7-1.
