KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The SCAD Cross Country teams have a split weekend of competition, with the first group racing at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge.  

WOMEN'S RESULTS: The women's team did not compete with a full squad. Milligan University won the event with 34 points. 

Paige Perkins came in first for SCAD, placing 122^nd and finishing with a time of 21:32.99.

MEN'S RESULTS: The men's team totaled 515 points to place 20th in a field of 24 teams. University of the Cumberlands finished first overall with 22 points.  

Vaclav Herbs came in first for SCAD, placing 17^th overall and finishing with a time of 24:43.81.
