SAVANNAH, Ga.- SCAD Flag Football and head coach Cristian Orth announce the addition of Ryan Upp as the assistant coach.

"I am extremely excited to bring Coach Upp on board," said Orth. "His leadership, experience, and knowledge of the game will aid us tremendously as we look to build this program into a national contender."

Upp comes in with a wealth of experience and football prowess from his days as a wide receiver at Morehead State University.

During his career as an Eagle, he etched his name in the records books as third all-time in career receptions and receiving yards. He was selected as a three-time All-Pioneer Football League (PFL) honoree. In his senior campaign, he was named as a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-American and was top in the FCS for receiving yards.

Prior to coming to SCAD, Upp served as the football recruiting coordinator. He also trained some of the top flag football talent in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area.
