ATLANTA, Ga.- Victor Rodrigues and Chloe Chua  of Bees Taekwondo  earned gold medals and secured their places on the 2026 USA Under-21 National Team by winning the 2026 USA National Team Trials on Sunday, July 5.

The achievement is especially significant as both athletes had already earned spots on the 2026 USA Senior National Team after winning the Senior National Team Trials in January. With their victories, Rodrigues and Chua will represent Team USA at both the Senior and Under-21 levels in their respective weight divisions: -74 kg (Rodrigues) and -67 kg (Chua).

As members of the USA National Team, Rodrigues and Chua will participate in an international training camp in Charlotte, North Carolina, this October, along with other national team activities and international competitions throughout the year.

"We are incredibly proud of Victor and Chloe for this outstanding accomplishment," said head coach Lucas Rodrigues. "Qualifying for both the Senior and Under-21 National Teams in the same year speaks to their consistency, discipline, and commitment to excellence. They have worked tremendously hard, and this is another important step toward their international and Olympic goals."
