SPARTANSBURG, S.C. -- The SCAD Cross Country teams raced today at the Comverse Kick-Off. Hosted at the NCAA DII Regionals course, the course provided a championship race environment, with rolling hills and grassy meadows.  

WOMEN'S RESULTS: The women's team totaled 186 points to place seventh in the field of 15 teams. UNC - Asheville won the event with 52 points. Edith Manfred came in first for SCAD, placing 15th in a field of 127 athletes with a time of 23:01.

MEN'S RESULTS: The men's team did not compete with a full squad. Wingate University won the event with 26 points. Vaclav Herbs came in first for SCAD, placing 32nd  in a field of 190 athletes with a time of 25:49.
