Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

Chris Knobloch begins his second season as the Head Coach for the SCAD Men's Golf Team for the 2026-2027 campaign. A 33-year Class A PGA Member, Knobloch brings a wealth of competitive, technical, and developmental expertise to the Bees' golf programs. 

In his debut 2025-2026 season, Coach Chris led the women's team to a historic run, successfully repeating as AAC Conference Champions and securing four tournament victories. Under his guidance, the women's squad climbed to a #5 final national ranking—a significant leap from #9 the previous year—and finished #7 overall at the NAIA National Championship. His leadership also produced the AAC Freshman of the Year, the AAC Player of the Year, and 2 All-American honors. On the men's side, Knobloch captured a tournament victory, successfully hosted The SCAD Cup Tournament, and guided the team to a #42 national ranking. 

Recognized nationally as one of the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) Top 100 Growth of the Game Professionals, Knobloch has dedicated his career to cultivating athletic talent. At SCAD, he blends performance analytics, championship-level training, and a values-driven team culture designed to elevate student-athletes on and off the course. 

Prior to taking the helm at SCAD, Coach Chris established himself as a premier leader in player development within the region as the founder of Junior Golf 365, where he engineered one of the most comprehensive junior golf pathways in the country. He is also a recognized U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Coach and serves as the Atlanta Tour Director, orchestrating competitive tournament experiences across Georgia.  

Chris played four years of collegiate golf at West Georgia College and later earned accolades as the Georgia PGA Assistant Division Player of the Year for his competitive excellence. His coaching methodology seamlessly combines decades of practical competitive experience with an imaginative, game-based learning framework.
