Taiyuan, China – The SCAD Taekwondo team had two women compete in the 2026 World Taekwondo Women's Open Championships this weekend. The championships brought the largest field of competition in history, with 391 athletes representing 58 countries.  

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS 

Chloe Chua (67 kg) - 9^th

• Round 64 - Darya Navitskaia (Belarus), Win 2-0 

• Round 34 - Andrea Berisaj (Montenegro), Win 2-0 

• Round 16 - Saghar Moradi Sheikhlar (Iran), Loss 2-0 

Caroline Gomes dos Santos (67 kg) - 17^th

• Round 64 - Jasmina Turlibekova (Uzbekistan), Win 2-0 

• Round 32 - Aleksandra Perisic (Serbia), Loss 2-0
