SAVANNAH, Ga.- Bees Women's Soccer head coach Rebecca Gunn is pleased to announce the signing of Giada Bellini for the fall of 2026.

Bellini is a strong goalkeeper hailing from Plymouth, Minnesota. She is coming to Savannah from Wayzata High School where was a member of the state championship team in 2024. Bellini is also a multitalented choir and drama club member. She lettered in both choir and theater. Bellini was named Wayzata high school Drama Club Player of the Year and brought home two Superior Achievement Honors in the State Section Music Contest-Festival for a vocal solo.  She played club for Maplebrook Soccer Club where she won the NSC Spring Cup in 2023.

"Giada came to our ID Camp and made a very good impression on us," said coach Gunn. "She demonstrated that she is very quick and capable of making very good saves. She is impactful in communicating with her teammates and helps with organization of the back line."

 At SCAD, Bellini will pursue a degree in acting with a minor in musical theater. She is supported by her parents Kelly and Christopher Bellini and her older sisters Isabella and Olivia.  

When asked why she chose SCAD Bellini said, "What I am looking forward to in coming to SCAD and becoming a part of the women's soccer team is the amount of kindness and generosity that comes from both the players and the coaches. The team has a very great sense of community that I have enjoyed, and I am looking forward to partaking in it."
